The commitment
Knomart will publish the full distribution of agent earnings: the median, the range, the share earning nothing, and the survival rate at month six. Not a top figure, not an average dragged upward by a handful of outliers.
Why the median and the failures matter most
A prospective agent is deciding whether to spend $100 on the agent track and months of effort. The relevant question is not what the best agent earned — it is what a typical agent earned, and how many stopped before earning anything.
Agent survival at month six is one of the measures Knomart tracks precisely because it is where attrition concentrates.
Why month six is the hard part
An agent's early months are dominated by setup fees, because a book weighted toward free merchants pays $10 a time and then nothing recurring until conversions land. That is a genuine experience of the job, and an agent who was not told about it in advance tends to conclude the model does not work.
Any published distribution will show that shape rather than smoothing it out.
Why there is no number today
Because there are not yet agents with enough history to produce one that means anything. Publishing a figure drawn from a handful of early agents would describe those people, not the role — and publishing a modelled figure as an achieved one is the specific failure this whole approach exists to prevent.
What can be stated now
The rule, which is fixed: 50% of what your merchants pay, monthly, for as long as they stay, plus the full setup fee on each merchant you sign. What that produces depends entirely on how many merchants you sign, how many pay, and how many stay.
