1. Who we are

Knomart is a brand of Knomart Community, a company registered in Kenya (PVT-2024-001234). In these terms, "we", "us", and "Knomart" refer to Knomart Community. "You" means the person or business that subscribes to Knomart apps.

2. What you get

A monthly subscription to one or more Knomart business apps. Each app runs on shared infrastructure managed by us. We provide the software, hosting, automatic updates, and basic support. You provide your own internet connection and devices.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars on our pricing page and collected in your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate. Your subscription renews monthly. We may adjust prices with 30 days' written notice. No setup fee, no contract, no penalty for cancelling.

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a 3-day free trial. The trial starts when you record your first real transaction. No payment method is required to begin. If you do not subscribe after the trial, your account is suspended but your data is kept for 90 days.

5. Your data

You own your data. We store it on servers in Europe and Africa with encrypted backups. You may export your data at any time from your account. When you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted. See our privacy policy for details on what we collect and why.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Knomart for anything illegal, to store content that infringes others' rights, or to attempt to access other tenants' data. We may suspend accounts that violate this policy.

7. Uptime and support

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance. Support is available via WhatsApp and your assigned agent during business hours (Mon-Sat, 8 am - 6 pm EAT).

8. Limitation of liability

Knomart is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or data loss beyond our control. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
